Liverpool's penultimate match of the pre-season period takes place at Anfield on Sunday afternoon, as Athletic Bilbao pay a visit to Merseyside for a friendly clash.
Liverpool have confirmed they will conclude pre-season with a friendly double-header against Athletic Bilbao and Osasuna at Anfield – with a 75 percent capacity crowd. The club have updated 1,800 seats at the back of the Kop as the first part of a season-long trial of seats with safety rails.
A further 6,000 seats in the Anfield Road Stand lower tier will be updated in time for the first Premier League home game against Burnley on August 21.
With a combination of first-team players, youth products and individual players given each a chance to enjoy two 60-minute games against Bologna, Klopp has a lot to think about in this new campaign following a 2-0 and 1-0 victory in France.
